Time to Close

EDIT: My daughter and another friend has suggested that instead of deleting my blog completely, to leave it up and disable comments so that anyone new stumbling upon it can read the info or check out links that I've accumulated over the years. I've decided to do this, as it will leave a window open if I should ever decide to take up blogging again. I will leave comments open for a couple of weeks and then disable it. If you should be interested in staying in touch with me and don't already have my email address, then leave me a comment with your email and I'll send it to you. I won't publish your comment with your email address. I will be the only one to see it. I'm going to miss everyone!

This year has been a rather busy one and blogging has been put on the back burner more times than I'd like. For months I've been considering closing down this blog and have finally decided it's time. With aging parents who will need more of my help and attention, a husband that I'm spending more time with, thanks to God and the therapy he is receiving for PTSD, I feel my time should be spent with them.

I plan to leave the page up for a couple of weeks, so if there are any recipes you'd like to copy, please feel free.

I've been blogging since December 2006 and have *met* a lot of great ladies whom I consider true friends. I hope you will continue to keep in touch when you can by emailing me and I will stop by your blogs when time allows.
