Christmas Decorations

Warning: Picture loaded post

While you are looking at the pictures, why not listen to the beautiful song, O Holy Night, sung by Jimmy Fortune who used to sing with the Statler Brothers. The video is sideways, but just listen to his clear voice. He did a wonderful job on this song. It's one of my favorites!

Dining Room

I love the Gooseberry Patch cookbooks and these are the only two I have!

The cutest cookie jar ever! My sister got this for me many, many years ago and I use it every year.

Door going to the laundry room from dining room

These pictures of the tree didn't turn out as crisp as I'd like, but you get the gist of it.

One end of the living room
(our living room is very long and narrow making it difficult to arrange things)

One of our cute little Christmas bears.

On the inside of the front door

Other end of the living room

Little nativity set

Little porcelain church

These are little metal boxes with tea lights. Carissa found them at the Dollar Tree last year and bought four of them.

Pillar candle

Pillar candle (with flash)

These are my Oreo Christmas tin box collection. I'm missing a few years. I started collecting these in 1991. I'm missing 1992, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2007. I haven't been able to find them the past few years. Does anyone know if they quit doing this?

I hope you enjoyed looking at our Christmas decorations. I'll take more pictures throughout the season as I'm able to do more.

Christmas Blessings,
Sharon

Sharon,
I LOVE when you post pictures of your pretty home!
Everything looks nice but I especially like...
- the little white shelf with the apple clock on it :)
- the red table cloth with the white one over it (Im so copying that idea!!!) :) :)
- I like that little teddy bear sitting on your quilt rack..so cute!!! I like the one on your door too :)
- Like the gold/cream color pillows that look so super soft, on your sofa and the angel blanket is pretty also.
- Love the nativity set and the church and the candle with the bow

You decorate nicely and are a great example of a Titus 2 lady.

Dear Sharon: Just beautiful! I don't have decorations up yet as I just had major dental work done (8 teeth pulled!). In 6 weeks I'll have partial dentures made. As bad as I feel, I'm grateful for dental insurance. Hopefully tomorrow our house will get decorated.
I love your house! You inspire me.
Blessings, Debbie

Your home is beautifully decorated, Sharon.

If you're interested in adding more Gooseberry Patch to your collection, why not head on over to Tractor Supply (if you have one close in your area)? I was there this past weekend and found two more to add to my collection. They also were alot cheaper than what you'd find on the website or at gift stores. (p.s. I am in no way affiliated with TS...I just wanted to pass on my bargain information to you...lol).

Your home is beautiful! I had to leave most all of our Christmas decorations in The States when we came in February. We were blessed, though with a tree and a few other things that my Mother brought when she visited last month. Enjoy this special time of year!

Sweet Sharon,
Thank you for stopping by my blog and posting. (((Sharon)))
And thank you for sharing Christmas at your house. I love the throw blanket on your sofa, that angel is absolutely gorgeous! The lighted church is beautiful, as well as the lighted metal boxes that Carissa found. I love things that light up and sparkle. Merry Christmas!

Oh I just loved your Christmas home tour. Gooseberry Patch are my favorites too. Did you know if you submit a recipe and they use it, you get a free book? I do believe I have received at least 8 free books that way!

Love your festive blog theme,too!

Be blessed,

It's so much fun to decorate for Christmas isn't it.

I loved those little box tea light holders that Carissa found at the Dollar Stor.

I enjoyed listening to the music too. I just love Christmas music.

Sharon, your home looks so welcoming to hot cocoa and a good visit with a friend. Reminds me of the "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...." song. Christmas decorations bring a sweet sparkle to the cold, winter snow. Thanks for stopping by, and yes, you are more than welcome to link over to the post.
Sincerely,
Linda
